Intro to Mat Pilates Series - IN STUDIO + LIVESTREAM

Pilates is a low impact physical system that uses very specific targeted exercises with particular focus on the core, it is fitness modality that needs to be done on a regular basis to provide benefit, and complimentary to yoga practice, on and off the mat.

What to expect:

  • low impact and accessible to all levels

  • improve core strength, flexibility and posture

  • strengthens abdominals, lower back muscles, pelvic floor, hips and gluteal muscles

  • gentle on joints

Class is taught in an unheated studio.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays in the month of March, 6:00-7:00pm

Workshop Cancelation Policy: Non-Refundable. Due to limited space, we request that you cancel at least one week before a workshop. This gives us the opportunity to fill the event. You may cancel by phone or by email. If you cancel before the one week, you will receive an account credit towards any future purchase. Unused portions of workshop series are non-refundable.

Francesca found her way to Pilates at the age of 14 to gain core strength, balance and flexibility for riding her beloved horses more effectively. Over the years, as she made Pilates part of her lifestyle, and under the watchful eye of the skilled bodyworker Donna McCarthy Dunn, her Pilates teacher and educator, she decided to deepen her knowledge and pursue her own Pilates certification so that she can support other in this fitness modality, and to help her own dressage riding students to become more skillful and balanced in the saddle.
