At CENTER yoga, we specialize in flow-based yoga classes that cater to students of all abilities. Unlike other styles or studio offerings, our classes have no set sequence of poses, as we have teachers with diverse backgrounds. This allows our yoga teachers to be creative with their sequencing, targeting specific areas of the body or focusing on different themes, while helping you develop various abilities such as strength, flexibility, or balance.

Depending on the class you select, our yoga classes can be either a vigorous physical challenge or slow, gentle, and restorative. Irrespective of your experience level, most of our yoga sequences can be modified to accommodate injuries and different levels of ability.

Flow yoga emphasizes the synchronization of breath with movement, amplifying the positive benefits of the practice and transforming it into a moving meditation. The breath acts as a guide, maintaining the pace of the sequence and preventing practitioners from rushing through poses. It also aids in deepening the expression of each pose, while fostering mental focus and liberation from distractions. Meditation and breath work are infused throughout all our flow yoga classes, creating a harmonious and transformative experience.


Heated Power  

Stoke your inner fire with a well-rounded and empowering flow - prepare to sweat and strengthen. This class is taught in a studio heated with infrared heated panels.

Flow

Build strength, flexibility and mindfulness by bringing attention to your breath. Experience the bliss of a moving meditation as we delve into breath-work and invigorating movement. Class will begin with gentle movements to warm up the body, gradually advancing into flowing sequences, standing poses, balances, inversions, and peak poses. To wrap up the class, we will indulge in slow and deep stretches, often focusing on floor-based asana practice.

Gentle

Slow down with a feel-good flow that soothes  and relaxes. You will be guided to enter postures gradually, transitioning in and out of each pose dynamically. This approach allows for a gentle and nurturing experience for your joints, muscles, and connective tissues. We will prioritize the enhancement of bone strength through the practice of holding static postures. These postures will be carefully selected and will provide a balance between challenge and safety.

By incorporating dynamic gentle movements, we aim to protect and nourish your body as you move through the yoga sequence. These movements will support the overall well-being of your joints, muscles, and connective tissues, promoting flexibility and strength in a mindful way.
