The new year so often comes with pressures of striving for improvement or planning towards future events. What if we could take a break from all of that and sit with the gift of what is here and now? Join Caitlin Casella, the teacher of our upcoming YogaWorks teacher training, for a class in movement and meditation. Drawing inspiration from grounding practices of Body-Mind Centering and Feldenkrais Method, this class weaves together gentle intuitive movement, breath-centered slow flow yoga and mindfulness meditation.
- Learn simple, repeatable movement patterns that ease the body into stillness
- Discover the versatility of a meditation practice that can be done in movement, in stillness, sitting up, or lying down
- Learn access tools for clarity and calm in transit
- Yoga teachers: add new gentle movement sequences to your repertoire and learn a foundational meditation practice that can be offered in any setting
All levels of experience with yoga and meditation are welcome for this unheated class. Teachers earn 1.5 CE with Yoga Alliance.
