A strong vinyasa practice inevitably leads to some overuse complaints. Learn to protect neck and shoulders with specific asanas and alignment designed to open tight muscles in the shoulders & upper back as well as build balanced strength to maintain healthy alignment. In this workshop you will:
- gain a deeper understanding of upper body alignment
- learn to both release and strengthen target areas
- explore ways to release neck, shoulders, & upper back with a complimentary massage ball.
All levels welcome, no prior yoga experience necessary. Gain an understanding of proper alignment for a safe, life-long practice, and leave feeling relaxed and energized. Class is unheated.

ERYT 500, Emily teaches classes drawing from her Anusara background offering very specific alignment instruction allowing for maximum benefit in each asana as well as injury prevention. She is trained in therapeutics and precise biomechanical instruction for detailed asana instruction with a focus on anatomy and physiology, as well as advanced pranayama, contemplation and meditation techniques.
