In this workshop you will:
- Integrate functional movement patterns into your yoga practice to support a healthy lower spine
- Learn the different causes of back pain, sciatica, sacroiliac joint issues
- Determine when you need to see a doctor, when you can take matters into your own hands or work with a physical therapist
- Apply basic strategies to alleviate back pain

Brian Tenenhaus is a licensed Physical Therapist, Quinnipiac alum, with a specialty focused in Functional Manual Therapist. He has his CFMT from the Institute of Physical Art, out of Steamboat Springs, CO. “Anybody can make you feel better for a few hours, or even a few days, but to keep the pain from coming back over the long run, that’s what separates a few therapists from the rest”. Brian has worked with a very diverse population over the years including but not limited to patients with stroke, TMJD, cervicogenic headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and a vast array of orthopedic injuries.
