In this workshop you will:

  • Build Strength: Strengthen your core, arms, and shoulders as you develop the necessary foundation to master arm balances.

  • Enhance Stability: Learn techniques to improve your balance, stability, and body awareness, creating a solid base for your arm balances.

  • Cultivate Mental Focus: Develop mindfulness and concentration as you navigate the intricacies of arm balances, allowing you to find tranquility in challenging positions.

  • Explore Various Poses: From Crow Pose to Firefly Pose and beyond, learn a range of arm balances and discover the joy of defying gravity.

RYT 200, Alex attended her first group yoga class in 2012 and was instantaneously hooked on the physical benefits of the practice. She noticed that not only was she getting stronger physically, but also mentally. Yoga had helped her work through her anxiety, and with the meditative quality of the breath, yoga offered her the opportunity to be present. Alex completed her yoga teacher training with her teacher Annie Simard at The Yoga Shop in 2016. Her classes are powerful, yet accessible, and move with intention and grace. Her passion is in sharing her love of the practice, because she knows how transforming yoga can be.
