In these classes you and your child/children will:
Sing songs
Enjoy stories
Participate in activities for your little one
Get to meet other moms and caregivers
Each week, we will discuss a different parenting topics such as sleeping, behavior, temperament and more. We will talk about what are the normal, everyday struggles you are having with your newborn baby, infant, toddler and beyond. Is their behavior normal? Why are they crying? Why don't they listen? What can you do to help with their anger? Tackling the small problems today can prevent bigger problems in the future.

Rosie Price, MA, RN, midwife is a professional parent coach , and the founder of After the Hatch of Madison, CT, providing specialist parenting advice for infants (birth - 12 months), toddlers (1-3 years) and children (up to 5 years, but is happy to help with older children too). In her 25+ years, she has seen every child-rearing challenge. She is a personal coach, helping you navigate the ups and downs of parenting.
Early in her career as a Registered Nurse and Midwife and while raising two sets of twins, Rosie discovered her passion for helping mothers and their young children. Rosie and her husband moved from the UK to the USA in 2002 and raised their 4 children in Madison, CT. Rosie holds a Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut in Human Development and Family Studies. She trained as a certified Infant Mental Health Specialist and as a Lactation Consultant.
Rosie is a lecturer and consultant. She has presented to teachers, local parents, day care centers and staff at Yale University on topics ranging from 'Positive Parenting', 'Parenting Solutions' and 'Struggles, Strengths and Solutions for Single parents’. She has also worked in parenting programs for Yale University (5 years) and Yale New Haven Health System.
