This workshop is designed to introduce beginners to the foundations of yoga and provide an opportunity for practitioners seeking deeper instruction for their yoga practice. The significance of establishing a breathing practice and connecting that breath to your movement will be explained.
In this workshop you will:
•Basic breathing techniques
•Warm up poses, including modified sun salutations
•Basic standing postures for strength and balance
•Basic seated poses to build flexibility
•Restorative ending poses for relaxation
Leave the practice invigorated yet deeply relaxed, and carrying a whole new set of tools to use on and off the mat.
When: All Sundays in October 12-1pm, (10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27)
No prior experience is needed.
RYT500, Erin is Kripalu Yoga Instructor and is currently working towards her 1000HR through Kripalu. She is a Certified Life Coach, Stand Up Paddle Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master. Her mission is to empower any level student in a safe and nonjudgmental setting. Erin and her Shamanic Reiki assistant Amy are both honored to create a safe and healing space together to support their community.
