Join Petra for this six week series where teens can explore the benefits of developing a consistent yoga practice. In addition to having fun, increasing flexibility and building strength, teens are lead through a series of practices to develop a deeper connection to self and to their peers. Yoga enriches self-confidence and improves the ability to stay present which can support students as they begin the school year. Developing a yoga practice has the potential to profoundly impact the daily life of anyone especially teens!
In this class series you will:
•explore the fun-damentals of yoga in a safe and encouraging environment
•develop increased flexibility and strength in yoga poses and flows
•learn powerful techniques to cultivate more happiness, peace and calm
•connect to yourself and others on a deeper level
Suitable for all levels of yoga experience, 5th - 12th grade. Parents welcome to participate or drop off teen. Class is unheated.

RYT 500, Petra found yoga after years of struggles with staying healthy, and grants regular yoga practice with finally being able to quiet her autoimmune system into long term remission. Her teaching style is CENTERed around YogaWorks method, a Vinyasa-based flow method that balances precise instruction, detailed alignment, breath and fluid movement. Her classes are carefully themed to deepen the students’ experience of Yoga. She also offers variety of modifications and props that are used to individualize the practice for each of her students.
