Yin yoga is a beautifully delicious practice that helps us heal both our heart and our mind. It allows us time to sit within ourselves, to just be still, and to notice what the body and mind are telling us. A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia, the connective tissues of the body. In this workshop you will:
- improve your flexibility and gain larger range of motion
- promote self-regulated healing by activating the parasympathetic nervous system
- alleviate tension and stress, and release energetic toxins
Kristen, our essential oils extraordinaire, will be supporting the practice with Young Living oils to make this class even more special. You are guaranteed to leave feeling relaxed, calm and at ease!
All levels class, no prior yoga experience necessary.

RYT200, Petra trained under the supervision of Angela Botta of YogaWorks, and completed her Yin yoga teacher training with Biff Mithoefer in April 2017. She believes that in order to take care of others, we need to take care of ourselves first. She sees yoga as a way of living her most authentic self. Petra’s style of teaching is centered around YogaWorks method, a Vinyasa-based flow method that balances precise instruction, detailed alignment, breath and fluid movement.
