Join Haily in an exploration of Ayurveda, “the science of life, the sister science to yoga, a 5,000 year-old system of natural healing. Together Ayurveda and yoga work toward the goal of helping you achieve health, happiness and liberation. Come learn basic principles to live a balanced life in the body, mind, heart and spirit. Every human-being as well as every existence in the universe consists of the five great nature elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. Understanding your mind and body type based on dominant nature elements, or dosha, tremendously aids you to stay healthy physically and psychologically. With the understanding of the dynamic relationship between our bodies and the environment, we increase our self-awareness, and become better equipped to realize our full human potential. This workshop will begin with an introduction the Ayurvedic view of health, we will discuss each dosha in it’s balanced in imbalanced state, and then discuss how to create equilibrium and balance in the body and mind. You will find out Ayurvedic principles for health and longevity by learning the basic guidelines for living in harmony with nature. We will determine each participants’ dosha and discuss daily routine and self care practices that you can bring home to start to implementing Ayurveda into your life!

Haily Cryan, RYT200, employs alignment and flow to create a space for students to explore their practice with mindfulness and compassion. She is currently completing Kripalu’s 500hr Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training and is thrilled to be deepening her own practice and knowledge in order to weave it into her teachings. Haily's classes use the breath to guide students into finding their own edge, so growth and expansion happens with each experience.
