THE THEME

A central focus of this retreat is the understanding that yoga is not just movement—it is a somatic experience that directly supports nervous system regulation and whole-person healing. Through intentional breathwork, slow and mindful transitions, and alignment-based practices rooted in functional anatomy, you will learn to sense rather than perform—shifting from a state of chronic stress into one of safety and restoration. Practices are designed to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system (often called the “rest and digest” response), helping reduce cortisol levels in the body, improve emotional regulation, and support clearer thinking and deeper sleep.

As you begin to build awareness of how sensation, breath, and alignment influence your internal state, yoga becomes a powerful tool for self-regulation—one you can carry far beyond the desert and into everyday life.

This is not simply a yoga vacation, but a narrative journey—one that mirrors the courage, trust, and transformation of following your own “personal legend.” Through movement, silence, ritual, and meaningful connection, you’ll be supported in returning home with clarity, steadiness, and a renewed relationship to the life that is waiting for you.

Yurt Tent with En-Suite Bathroom & Private Jacuzzi

DOUBLE occupancy - $3,395 per person

Each yurt boasts an ample 26.3 ft diameter and 50 square meters of space (540 sqf.). Choose between double or twin beds and enjoy a cosy lounge corner. The private bathroom features a toilet, shower, and lavabo, with towels, bathrobes, and a selection of toiletries provided.

Gaze at the stars through the unique star-gazing window, and open the big terrace doors for a sweeping view of the Agafay Desert. Your private terrace offers exceptional views, complemented by a Moroccan lounge and sunbeds for relaxation. For added convenience, savor the independence of a separate kitchenette, complete with a fridge and tea station. A closet with a safe, extra blankets, and ample luggage space ensures a practical and comfortable stay.

Experience the comfort of our bungalows, each offering a spacious 38.5 square meters (415 sqf.) with a 23ft diameter. Each bungalow is equipped with twin beds and a cozy lounge corner. The private bathroom includes a toilet, shower, and lavabo, with towels, bathrobes, and a selection of toiletries provided.

Enjoy the expansive desert views by opening the large terrace doors. The private terrace, furnished with a Moroccan lounge, provides a serene spot to take in the surroundings. Additionally, a separate kitchenette with a fridge and tea station offers added convenience. A closet with extra blankets and ample luggage space ensures a practical and comfortable stay.

Royal Bungalow with En-Suite Bathroom & Private Jacuzzi Pool

Perched atop one of our highest hills, the Superior Suite Bungalow offers spacious 70 square meters (750 sqf.), and an exclusive retreat with breathtaking views stretching across the vast Agafay landscape to the distant Atlas Mountains. Thoughtfully designed as two connected bungalows, this one-of-a-kind suite provides both comfort and privacy in a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.

The main bungalow features a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, a freestanding bathtub, a cozy lounge, and a kitchenette equipped with a fridge and tea station. The second, slightly smaller bungalow houses a private shower, toilet, and a dedicated storage area.

The highlight of this suite is the private jacuzzi pool, partially extending from the bungalow’s interior to the terrace. A floor-to-ceiling window allows you to soak in the warm water while admiring the endless desert panorama. The pool is also accessible from the main terrace, which is designed for relaxation with a private dining area, a comfortable lounge corner, and sunbeds for unwinding under the open sky.

About the retreat leader…

E-RYT 500 Petra Appleget , the owner of CENTER Yoga + Wellness, found yoga after years of struggles with staying healthy, and grants regular yoga practice with finally being able to quiet her autoimmune system into long term remission. Petra believes that in order to take care of others, we need to take care of ourselves first. Once she fell in love with yoga, she knew she wanted to share her passion with others. She sees yoga as a way of living her most authentic self. Petra’s style of teaching is centered around YogaWorks method, a Vinyasa-based flow that balances precise instruction, detailed alignment, breath and fluid movement.

In 2020, Petra completed 300hr advanced yoga teacher training with The Container Collective, a Baptiste affiliated studio in Denver CO, under skillful leadership of Brittany Hopkins. Then later in 2020 continued her journey with YogaWorks and graduated with an additional 300hr of their advanced teacher training with Jodie Rufty as her mentor in February 2021. In October 2021, Petra completed another 300hr of advanced teacher training with Amy Ippoliti and her Vesselify School of Yoga.

Cancelation policy…

• If you cancel on or before October 31, 2026:

  • You will forfeit your 1st installment payment, or 1/12 of the total cost.

  • You will be responsible for an additional $100 Cancelation Fee.

  • If you made any payment other than the 1st installment payment before that date, however, the remainder of your payment will be refunded to you (i.e. after deduction of the above amounts).

• If you cancel after October 31, 2026 (for any reason including, without limitation, physical or mental illness or injury, voluntary departure, and personal emergencies):

  • You will not be entitled to any refunded amounts, and

  • You will be responsible to pay an additional $100 Cancelation Fee, and

  • You will forfeit all payments paid before that date.
