RYT 500 and the owner of CENTER Yoga + Wellness, Petra found yoga after years of struggles with staying healthy, and grants regular yoga practice with finally being able to quiet her autoimmune system into long term remission. Petra believes that in order to take care of others, we need to take care of ourselves first. Once she fell in love with yoga, she knew she wanted to share her passion with others. She sees yoga as a way of living her most authentic self. Petra’s style of teaching is centered around YogaWorks method, a Vinyasa-based flow that balances precise instruction, detailed alignment, breath and fluid movement.
In 2020, Petra completed 300hr advanced yoga teacher training with The Container Collective, a Baptiste affiliated studio in Denver CO, under skillful leadership of Brittany Hopkins. Then later in 2020 continued her journey with YogaWorks and graduated with an additional 300hr of their advanced teacher training with Jodie Rufty as her mentor in February 2021.

RYT 200, Megan completed her training under Caroline Felix and Amy Gwinner at Shine Yoga in Winchester, Virginia. With a focus on vinyasa style and the influence of Baron Baptiste, Megan’s training deepened her passion to share yoga with others in a way that is accessible for all. She believes this practice is a way to create ease and space within ourselves, moving us to show up more fully off the mat and within our community. Megan is inspired by the teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra, and values a yoga practice that is rooted in compassion. Her classes aim to cultivate strength, lightness, and opening in the body.

RYT 200, Emily received her certification through Tiny Buddha Yoga in Ann Arbor, MI. She is determined to teach yoga that empowers. Her classes utilize powerful flows to create energetic physical alignment as well as a clear mind and joyful heart. Emily believes in the healing power of yoga and is passionate about sharing the practice in a way that feels accessible to every person. Yoga has been a source of strength and therapy in her life and a reminder that none of us is alone in their struggles, nor on their journey to rise above them. Emily invites students to show up to class exactly as they are and to trust that they have remarkable purpose, bravery, and support within themselves. Her classes will challenge you but, at the same time, give you permission to be kind and gentle to yourself. Having had her own struggles with body image, Emily aims to create a space of body positivity and liberation from oppressive ideals for how we should eat, exercise, and look. Outside of the studio, Emily has two young children, writes, loves fashion, music, and reading or listening to anything having to do with true crime. She is filled with gratitude for the opportunity to do this as both a teacher and a student.
