“Who dares to teach must never cease to learn.” -John Cotton Dana
Antonia’s love of yoga began in New York City in 1999 while attending yoga classes where exercising the mind was equally as important as asana instruction. The emphasis on the connection of mind and body, make yoga one of the most integrated ways to approach overall fitness. Inspired by this union, Antonia continued to study a variety of yoga styles in a variety of places for years and went on to obtain her yoga teacher certification in 2016. True to her beginnings, her classes are rooted in yogic themes and principles and the physical practice reflects and reinforces these.
Antonia’s classes are rigorous but modifications are always offered and encouraged where necessary. She brings her sense of humor, lighthearted approach and a love of all beings to teaching vinyasa.
And because it’s true that the best teachers are lifelong students, Antonia attends yoga classes and festivals regularly in order to be inspired by her teachers in the hopes that she will do the same for her students.
